Let’s Plant with Nan Sterman

Join Nan Sterman for one of her annual, hands-on vegetable seed starting workshops.
Nan brings all the seeds, planting supplies, and equipment. She teaches you about seed starting, then we dig in!
After a few hours’ work, you’ll take home your entire summer vegetable garden, seeded and ready to sprout: tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, melons, pumpkins, sunflowers, marigolds, cucumbers, zucchini, zinnias, squashes, basil, tomatillo, cilantro, and more.
Nan includes her favorite seed starting products and supplies, so you can start seeds on your own after the workshop, too. And you’ll be added to Nan’s Seed Starters Facebook group for ongoing support and information.
During this workshop, Nan shares her fool-proof seed starting methods, her secrets for success, and answers all your seed starting questions including:
— Which seeds to plant for summer and which to plant for other seasons
— How to start different kinds of seeds
— How to read seed packets
— The best seed starting tools (you’ll be surprised!)
— How to avoid common mistakes
Nan makes seed starting easy! Even experienced seed starters love this workshop – some come every spring!
One person per signup. Minimum of 10 people and maximum of 25 people per workshop.
Suited for children (with an adult) ages 12 and older, maximum of one child per adult.
